Sandy McManus is definitely from Northern Ireland and is from Derry. He is a footie fan and his favourite club is Derry City FC.
Once I discovered that I realised that the Welsh stuff I'd been tipped off about was fiction and that my original profile about Sandy studying at Queen's University Belfast was accurate.
